Not quite sure if the Work & Travel Program is for you?  Do not have 4-5 months available to participate in Work & Travel?  Or perhaps you feel that the particular jobs offered are not suited to your field of study or interests?

If you answered yes to either of the questions above then perhaps the Taj Global Understanding American Internship program is just for you!   Under the Internship Program, international students are placed in NON-PAID job internships with American companies in the following fields: Information Technology, Business, Marketing, Accounting, & Engineering.  Students learn about the world of American business culture while residing either on a University campus or with a local host family.  Taj Global Understanding currently has Internships available throughout the year in Chicago, a great and dynamic American city.


Eligibility
  • Between the ages 18-28
  • Currently enrolled full time student in college/university
  • Must be active status at the time of enrollment into the program
  • Able to return to home country at the end of the program
  • Intermediate English (SLEP=50, TOEFL=500 may be required)
  • Interested in learning American Culture and American Business Culture
  • Able to complete the program during college/university vacation period only
  • Mature enough to work in a foreign country
  • Willing to sign and agree to Code of Conduct while on the program
  • Passport Valid at least 6 months beyond program end date
