WORK & TRAVEL PROGRAM (United States)
The Work & Travel Program is an opportunity for qualified foreign university students to gain international exposure through living and working in the United States for up to four months. The Work & Travel Program has been designed by the US Department of State as a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa program. In addition, the program allows American employers to gain an international perspective while allowing foreign students the ability to learn the American working style and ethic. Students are placed in various ‘non-skilled’ jobs throughout the United States, including hotels, resorts, theme parks, camps, residential & sports complexes, & retail stores. At the completion of the program, students are allowed utilize some of their earnings to travel for an additional month in America. The Statue of Liberty. Niagara Falls. Grand Canyon. Disneyworld. Washington DC. Hollywood. Work & Travel exchange students have an opportunity to see and explore America!

Or perhaps you feel that the particular jobs offered are not suited to your field of study? If this is the case, then our Taj Global Understanding American Internship program is just for you. Under the Internship Program, international students are placed with (non paid) job internships with American companies in the following fields: Information Technology, Business, Marketing, Accounting, & Engineering. Students learn about the world of American business culture while staying with a host family. Taj Global Understanding currently has Internships available throughout the year in Chicago, a great and dynamic American city.
