PYGAIN INITIATIVE
PYGAIN (Project Youth for Global Awareness & Interchange Network) is an Education Initiative between India & the United States, created by Taj Global Understanding. PYGAIN will link for schools in both India and the United States, with a goal of creating awareness and understanding of culture, as well as to relevant issues facing both countries. The United States is the most powerful democracy while India is the largest democracy in the World; however, outwardly both cultures are very different. Through a program such as PYGAIN, a bridge will be created between both nations.

PYGAIN is being administered through Taj Global Understanding’s operational field office in Karad Maharashtra. While American schools will have advanced resources, including computer labs, digital media, and internet facilities, the same is not true for rural Indian schools. Therefore, TGU will work closely with schools in India to ensure communication and project follow ups.
