GAP YEAR PROJECT MODEL
Taj Global Understanding offers high school and university students around the world a unique and exciting opportunity to live and work with rural communities in India. TGU provides placements which are suitable to a volunteer’s interest and background; moreover, GAP Year Programs are individual programs in a single location. In addition, GAP Year Programs can be structured for 1 to 6 months. Programs are usually in the field of education and volunteers bring their own teaching materials. Programs can be set up year round.
ELIGIBILITY
- Age 18-28 (Exceptions on Case by Case basis)
- Completed TGU Application/ Contract (8 weeks prior to arrival)
- Flexible, Mature, & Open to New Experiences/ Cultures
- Strong Sense of Independence
- Willingness to Face Hardships
